Kapil Dev - A Legend - Part1

We all know KAPIL DEV - the Gentleman of Indian Cricket who made INDIA win it's first World Cup of Cricket in 1983. He was the Captain of the Indian Cricket Team, which wasn't considered to cross the first round of the Cricket Championship and to surprise each and every Team and Cricket Pundits, India won the Prudential World Cup with finesse in 1983. The man with his men to do the honors was the Great KAPIL DEV.
This special incidence, rather i would like to say the cosmic intervention, changed the entire landscape of INDIAN CRICKET and Cricket was not same again! It got changed and it got followed deep into the lanes & by lanes of Cities, empty grounds of Towns got filled with new enthusiasts, and in Villages they had a new sport to fill the void of dying Hockey - India's National Sport!
This event of winning of the Prudential World Cup in 1983, changed the interest of common man who loved Cricket from a perspective of an enthusiast to a devotee of Cricket, with subsequent period of further actions & wins. And the change was so big that over a period this win inspired many people, budding Cricketers & new Kids to follow Cricket religiously and passionately to make INDIA & the Sub-Continent the Superpower of Modern Cricket. In this light, it won't be inappropriate to call Kapil Dev - the New God of Indian Cricket. This Love & Passion made Cricket the new religion of India. And a new ERA of Cricket Started with New Heros, New Stars being Born!
Leaders change the Direction and this Directional CHANGE creates new DESTINY. That is what, KAPIL DEV did for Indian Cricket and Indian Society. The traditional Indian Society started thinking - SPORTs and following CRICKET and when you start Thinking and Following, Action happens. Cricket became a new HOPE, New Game! That is what happened to India and surrounding countries. Cricket was the new language, Cricket was new love. Cricket not only impacted the emotions, it TRANSFORMED the Indian & World Cricket's Financial Fortunes!

STOP GLOBAL WARMING

STOP GLOBAL WARMING

Step1

Purchase a programmable thermostat for your home. For periods during which you are not home, you can set your thermostat to be about two degrees cooler in the winter and 2 degrees warmer in the summer. This will reduce your home’s CO2 emissions.

Step2
Plant trees in your yard. Trees will shade your home, reducing the need for air conditioning. Trees also drink up about one ton of CO2 during their lifetime.

Step3
Reduce your driving speed from 65 mph to 55 mph. By driving at 55 mph, you optimize your car’s gas mileage and reduce your CO2 emissions

Step4
Buy food products grown by local farmers. Local products don’t have to be transported long distances, reducing CO2 emissions.

Step5
Carpool to and from work when possible. Fewer cars on the road equals less CO2 released into the atmosphere.

Step6
Use cloth bags when shopping at the grocery store. Electricity is required to make plastic, which puts more CO2 into the air.

Step7
Turn off and unplug TV’s, computers and other electronics when they are not in use to reduce the amount of electricity needed for your home.

WAR
